Biography

With more than thirty-eight years’ experience in power, petrochemical, water treatment, manufacturing and engineering/construction, Jerry brings a wealth of knowledge to clients expanding their business or strengthening their senior management team.

Jerry has a broad background in power generation, both conventional and alternative. He has been responsible for the construction of combined-cycle and combustion-turbine plants, and managed the operation and decommissioning of the Shenandoah Solar Center for Georgia Power, a joint project of EPRI and Southern Company. His work in wind-farm development rounds out a thorough understanding of conventional (coal, gas, nuclear) and green (solar, wind, biomass) generation. His international experience spans new power plant design, project management, field services and engineered-equipment sales in the Pacific Rim, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

Jerry has served as President and CEO of MYRpower, Inc.; Vice President and Director of Stone & Webster, Inc.; President and CEO of ACandS, Inc.; and President and CEO of UE&C Nuclear, Inc. Earlier he was General Manager, Engineering and Licensing at Georgia Power Company and General Manager, Engineering at Energy Northwest. He began his career manufacturing engineered equipment for power plants with Westinghouse Electric Company.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Nuclear Energy Institute and as Chairman of the Supplier Advisory Committee of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), and is a member of the Project Management Institute, the American Society for Metals and the American Nuclear Society.
